We invite you to spend seven days you will never forget on * the roof of Serbia *,on Kopaonik, our highest and most beautiful mountain. Your stay on Kopaonik, the National Park of Serbia in summer, will give you an opportunity to see unique Pancic pine-tree, growing on steep mountain peaks as well as on gentle pasture – grounds. In the National Park Kopaonik 1500 various plants species have been registered up to now, representing unique biological area in Serbia and the Balkans as well. Rich flora and fauna, refreshing smells and well – planned activities here will make your stay attractive and meaningful, both in summer and winter. Because of sunny days for most of a year, the mountain has been given the name as * the sunny mountain *
Summer on Kopaonik offers new opportunities. You can enjoy swimming, riding (horses, bicycles),flying in a balloon, paragliding here, there is a diving board for you, too. From a balloon or by a paragliding, you will have wonderful view of the mountain. Summertime is a real challenge for a mountaineering enthusiasts, don’t miss to go on trekking to the highest mountain peaks because you will be able to see half of Serbia from Pancic Peak, that is, ”the roof of Serbia”. Even for the most intrepid mountaineers, it is a breathtaking adventure to visit a Mark’s Rock, formed from granite layers, the marvelous spring in Metodja or even more stupendous, Semetesko lake whose water level always stays the same, no matter what weather conditions are.
Kopaonik and surrounding area There are well-known spas nearby, like Josanicka, Vrnjacka, Mataruska and Kursumlijska. Those people interested in archeology and cultural heritage shouldn’t miss the opportunity to visit Serbian monasteries as well as Serbian towns dating from the mediavel times. The monasteries are – Studenica, Djurdjevi Stupovi, Sopocane, Crna Reka, Zica, Gradac, Ljubostinja – the towns are – Maglic, Zvecani and Koznik. For organized groups, recreational activities, such as scouting and mountaineering tours, sports events competitions, evening charades, fancy dress parties, lessons on acting, artist colonies, are closely monitored by qualified teachers of physical education, organizers and animators. You can write thousands and thousands words describing Kopaonik, its beautiful scenery and challenges of any sort you meet there, but neither words nor photographies can substitute for only one day spent on Kopaonik. For organized groups, the Boarding school for high school students takes care of organizing transport to Kopaonik.

Some general information on the Boarding school
The Boarding school Beograd – Masinac for high school students is situated on one of the most beautiful locations, named Pajino Preslo on Kopaonik mountain, at the altitude of 1780 m. The Boarding school is an educational institution whose program is adjusted to the student’s age and the local climate. It is the property of the Ministry of Education and Sport. It has a tradition of over thirty years long work with people of all ages, and has practiced various forms of recreational activities. All rooms are with bunk beds. They are four bedded rooms with a bathroom, five bedded or six bedded rooms with a bathroom on each floor. Prices are fixed according to the type of rooms mentioned above.
SERVICES AVAILABLE
The basic aim is educational work in the form of recreational and other activities adjusted to the local climate conditions. Its aim is also to improve the health of students and to develop their sense for socializing. Throughout one year, the activities are intended primarily for high school students and teachers further qualifying for their profession. The program mostly consists of sports recreational, scouting and mountaineering activities, sports games and competitions, charades in the evenings,acting, painting, fancy dress parties and the like. These programs are primarly intended to develop in students a sense of organized and creative life, to cherish friendship and other ways of socialising and humanizing of young people. These programs envisage meeting experts and artists and other people playing an important role in public life. During a snow season, recreational activities to be trained are skiing, snow boarding, various games on the snow and orientation. All these cultural and sports activities, monitored closely by teachers of physical education, are intended to enable students to express their capabilities, to develop their skills and to entertain themselves. Many students have benefited a lot from their time spent there, learning about the environment, especially about the beauties and the life in the mountain itself.

A seven day arrangement for students – full board ( breakfast, lunch and supper ):

A seven day arrangement for other organized groups – full board ( breakfast, lunch and supper):
* in rooms with a bathroom……………………13.452,00 rsd (156,75 €). in rooms without a bathroom …………………10.986,00 rsd(138,88€ ) The travel cost is included in the above mentioned price.
PRICE LIST FOR SINGLE MEALS:
For high school students ski equipment price and 20 ski training lessons are included in the arrangement price. Other organized groups can rent ski equipment, paying additionally. New Year’s Eve Party cost 1.000,00 rsd additional. ( 12,5 e )
Residence tax per day is:
for adults …………………………………………100,00 rsd (1,25 €) for children at the age from 7 to 15 ………50,00 rsd (0,63€).
How to pay – in 4 installments, with the last installment to be paid 10 days before starting a travel to Kopaonik Individuals who pay the whole sum of money, get 5% reduced price. In case of price changes on the market, the price list will be adjusted to them and it is valid until the contract is signed.
Damages done in the boarding school will be charged on the premises.

THE BOARDING SCHOOL FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS,BELGRADE
The object Beograd on Kopaonik mountain was built in 1972.The construction of an annex and an adaptation were carried out in 1980. In 1993 huge reconstruction works were carried out, enlargening the capacity from 80 to 150 beds. In 2004,the reconstruction and building of an additional storey over a part of the main ring and the annex was carried out.
